Description Robert French 2006-07-31 20:40:17 UTC
I install freebsd go to boot and then the 6gig harddrive is 558megs or
something, 586megs I think.

Fix:

Use 4.11 FreeBSD?
How-To-Repeat: Install Freebsd standard way 1,2,3
Get done, then reboot!!!
There it is 568megs or something.
I thought it might be LBA or something?

Are you having these problems with other hardware platforms?
Does the drive support LBA and such?

At the moment i am thinking that this is a limitation of your
local hardware and not in FreeBSD's software.
