Afther changing the USB CD/DVD drive for a ata ide drive the problem resolved. So it seems like the problem had to do with the USB support. The drive I was using was a Samsung SE-S164 State Changed From-To: open->closed Closed at submitter's request. This appears to have been a hardware problem. |
