A patch to make the security chapter more consistent regarding the use of acronyms etc. I've added a number of <acronym></acronym> tags, as well as a couple of <acronym role=""></acronym> tags along with some small fixes (i.e. using entities instead of -- and such).
As I was doing this I realized two things, firstly, should I use the <acronym role=""></acronym> on every single acronym, or just <acronym></acronym>, or should I leave most of the acronyms alone altogether?

The second thing is, do we need an overhaul like this on the entire handbook?

Fix: Apply the following patch, or the parts you find fitting. I'm happy to rewrite the patch if there is need, just let me know.

During the fifteen years (ahem) since your patch was offered (thank you), we have the change of path; the migration to AsciiDoctor; plus I can't guess how many other changes in, or involving, the chapter.
