Description neil 2006-11-26 17:10:15 UTC
I have a VIA PD10000-based system (Centerhauls CPU) and the latest
erlang(-lite) update stalls at the PLT generation stage with beam consuming lots of
CPU but nothing else happening.

How-To-Repeat: I just updated the port using portupgrade as I have done many times
previously.

This bug is bogus.

I just ran the update again and left the machine unattended.

A message is output that the initial PLT build will take a few minutes
when in fact it took 4 hours.

It might be worth alerting users to this fact.

I will make a patch to disable the automatic PLT build.

I disabled the automatic PLT build, now the port should compile in a decent time :-)
