Bug 108293

Summary: Cannot build Apache 2.2.4 because of Incorrect MD5/SHA256-sum for a patch file

Description J. Martin Petersen 2007-01-24 11:30:32 UTC
The file "apr_dbd_mysql.rev-57.c" on ftp.dk.freebsd.org and ftp.freebsd.org does not have the SHA256- and MD5-sum specified in the ports' distinfo. This means the port cannot compile.

The file is, however, identical to apr_dbd_mysql.rev-77.c in the same directory.

How-To-Repeat: cd /usr/ports/www/apache22 && make patch

State Changed
From-To: open->closed

Can't reproduce:

fetch ftp://ftp.FreeBSD.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/local-distfiles/clement/apr_dbd_mysql.rev-57.c
apr_dbd_mysql.rev-57.c                        100% of   23 kB 3925  Bps

md5 apr_dbd_mysql.rev-57.c
MD5 (apr_dbd_mysql.rev-57.c) = 506293fef131712113c145260809a894

Which is the size and md5 matching distinfo file.

Hello,

It is the proxy problem - the file is recoded from *nix "\n" to
windows "\r\n" during transfer through squid.
