Description info 2007-11-20 13:00:03 UTC

System daemons (syslog / sshd ) fail due a non populated /var/. This
caused by missing file /etc/mtree/BSD.var.dist     . 
For sshd /etc/ssh/* is missing.

Fix: 

adding the mentioned file to the configurations files.

How-To-Repeat: 
Removing these file will show the problem agian.

I can't reproduce this problem. 
Can you still reproduce it with a recent version of freebsd ? 
If yes, can you provide the version of freebsd you are using, 
the version of tinybsd (ident /usr/src/tools/tools/tinybsd/tinybsd), 
a link to your .tinybsd.hostname.username configuration file, 
and a link to your tinybsd.log when you replace "cpio -dump" 
by "cpio -dumpv" in tinybsd ?  Thanks.
