Description Jérôme Brilland 2007-12-31 19:40:02 UTC
The PS/2 IntelliMouse mouse doesn't work when enabled with sysinstall : No cursor moving.

Dec 28 18:25:49 localhost kernel : psm0 : <PS/2 Mouse> irq 12 on atkbdc0
Dec 28 18:25:49 localhost kernel : psm0 : [GIANT-LOCKED]
Dec 28 18:25:49 localhost kernel : psm0 : [ITHREAD]
Dec 28 18:25:49 localhost kernel : psm0 : model IntelliMouse, device IP3

The moused daemon is running.

Same problem under FreeBSD i386 BETA4 and RC1, but the mouse works fine under FreeBSD amd64.

How-To-Repeat: Try to enable a PS/2 IntelliMouse mouse with sysinstall.

Responsible Changed
From-To: freebsd-i386->freebsd-bugs

reassign to bugs team, eventhough this seems to occur on i386 only
I dont think this is machine related but something in the driver.
