JFYI, the port uses non-standard 'do-fetch' target. Sources are fetched from SVN repository, port version is equal to the SVN revision.

Dear Artem,

I have some questions around sipp-devel.
We need sipp-devel in PORTS TREE? Why?
Is more common use is the stable version and not devel, unless you tell
me the reasons to add this sipp-devel in PORTS TREE.

As always, good work!

Thanks.

Afaik SIPP development process has no code freezes before releases and
so their "stable" is quite relative. As you remember net/sipp port
mostly always represented recent SVN snapshot version. But there are
no more snapshots on http://sipp.sourceforge.net/snapshots/ page.

The new development port may be useful for those who wish to try
recent fixes and features since SVN version is not compiled under
FreeBSD without patches. Sure, you may decide not to approve it,
anyway they may use Google to find the PR with the port :)

I talked with author about this PR and we agree about to close this
unnecessary new port.
