the system shows interface -Broadcom 802.11b/g WLAN- as -fwe0-, but it
does not work at all. Help me please.

i turned on in loader.conf "if_fwe_load="YES" and in KERNEL device fwe,
device firewire is uncomment. i don't know what to do else.

Ross,

the fwe (4) interface is the firewire interface.

Your Broadcom is most likely currently not supported by any of the
available drivers under FreeBSD. You should take a look at ndisgen.

To get the wireless working on the dv8000 systems, you need to
download the Windows XP driver:

4.40.19.0. - ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp33001-33500/sp33008.exe

extract the files using archivers/cabextract, then use ndisgen to
build the ndis driver for your wireless adapter.

Feedback timeout (> 2 months).  Note that the advice to submitter was 
to use NDIS.
