This patch updates devel/git from 1.5.3.8 to 1.5.5.

git 1.5.5 was released April 4, 2008 at http://git.or.cz  Read the release notes here: http://www.kernel.org/pub/software/scm/git/docs/RelNotes-1.5.5.txt

It's based on this patch that updates devel/git from 1.5.3.8 to 1.5.4.5: http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=122506

  Along with the usual slew of usability and bug fixes, of particular note in
  this version compared with the previous version we had in the tree is that
  git-commit and git-checkout have been rewritten in C, and git-commit has
  experienced performance improvements.
