I've been unable to maintain the JDE port, and since I am no longer really using emacs or Java frequently, it doesn't make sense for me to keep maintainership of this port.  I'd like to pass the torch on to Brad Clawsie, who has expressed interest in taking over.  He can be reached at clawsie -at- fastmail (dot) fm.  (Please excuse the obfuscated email.)

Fix: 

Please update the maintainer.  He has stated in email to me that he would like to take a little bit of time to become familiar with the code/port, but he would like to update it soon.
