Description Ofloo 2008-10-14 09:40:01 UTC
I've noticed that sometimes after long while of staying logged in over
ssh, that I disappeared from who command, .. I'm still logged in type who
and my username is not shown in the list, so I exit relogin and type who
my username is back in the list.

How-To-Repeat: Stay logged in for a long time

I wanted to add that this also goes for rwho. Although the user isn't
shown at all in rwho, even after relogin.

Regards, ..

Wouter,
can you please check if ``last'' gives you resoneable output?
Please check if /var/run/utmp is not of zero length while ``who''
does not show you your userid.
Does ``who'' show anything at all or are you just missing one single
user session being listed?
