State Changed From-To: open->feedback Awaiting maintainers feedback (via the GNATS Auto Assign Tool) This is not 7-STABLE only -- I'm experiencing the same error on 6.4 (p1) I was working with the original maintainer of this port to get it working under FreeBSD 7.0. After much searching and trial and error, I found that I had to modify one of the patches the net/nxserver port (setting HasPoll to NO) in order to produce a version of nxagent that doesn't die unexpectedly when you are attempting to create a new session. I submitted my patch tot he original maintainer but I guess it was never tested and/or acted upon. I've gone ahead and attached the patch. The correct thing to do would be to figure out why nxagent dies and fix the root cause - but my workaround is sufficient for my own purposes. I'm currently typing this email from a FreeBSD 7.1 that I'm connecting to using the Win32 nxclient. Until I reapplied this patch and rebuilt the nxserver port I was unable to connect.
