I boot my machine, the boot loader comes up.. but when I hit 'F2' to boot to FreeBSD, it just beeps.. nothing else happens. It'll only let me use 'F1' (FAT32 partition)

This is almost certainly due to a mismatch between the disk geometry
your BIOS is using, and what FreeBSD thought the geometry was when it
was installed.

I'd suggest sending mail to the freebsd-questions@freebsd.org mailing
list and asking for help with this.
