Bug 13013

Summary: Selecting CDROM as install media doesn't mount /dev/cd0c
Product: Base System Reporter: H. Eckert <ripley>
Component: confAssignee: freebsd-bugs (Nobody) <bugs>
Status: Closed FIXED
Severity: Affects Only Me
Priority: Normal
Version: 3.2-RELEASE
Hardware: Any
OS: Any

Description H. Eckert 1999-08-07 17:20:01 UTC
Booted the 3.2-RELEASE floppies (stupid bios fails to
recognize SCSI-CDROM as bootable), started installation
and selected "CDROM" as install source. Popup says it
failed to find a CD-ROM drive. Running the emergency
shell doesn't help as no appropriate mount cmd is on
/stand. During kernel initialization the drive has
	been probed correctly.

Fix:

Check for /dev/acd0c _and_ /dev/cd0c.
How-To-Repeat:
Attempt to install on said (or similar) hardware
