<sys/time.h>. Also included is a simple patch to the gettimeofday(2) man page
to include a reference to this page.

These macros are provided for manipulating

structures for use with the

calls.

The structures pointed to by

.Fa uvp ,
and
.Fa vvp
are defined in

as:

The results are simplified such that the value of

is always less than 1,000,000 (1 second).
