Description yuri 2009-02-10 06:10:01 UTC
After I used 'airodump-ng -write ath0 ath0' ath0 interface was left in 'monitor' mode (which maybe is a bug in airodump itself).

Command 'ifconfig ath0 -monitor' is supposed to clear 'monitor' mode. But it doesn't seem to make any difference.

This is a very serious problem since after this interface isn't usable until reboot. It stays in 'monitor' mode (no packets go out or in).

Same is true for ral0 device.

Cannot reproduce with base r342152 - interface correctly passes traffic when ifconfig wlan0 -monitor is executed + it's not possible to apply any operations to the NIC - only to wlan's - since base r287197.
