Description Oleg Gawriloff 2009-09-15 09:50:05 UTC
When installing pear from ports it complains about:
Using local package: PEAR.............
Fatal error: Class 'Archive_Tar' not found in /var/tmp/usr/ports/devel/pear/work/pear-1.9.0/go-pear on line 726
*** Error code 255

Stop in /usr/ports/devel/pear.
*** Error code 1

Stop in /usr/ports/devel/pear.

If I try to install archivers/pear-File_Archive first then it contains cross-reference link to pear:
---> Skipping 'mail/pear-MIME_Type' because a requisite port 'devel/pear' failed (specify -k to force)
---> Skipping 'archivers/pear-File_Archive' because a requisite port 'mail/pear-MIME_Type' failed (specify -k to force)
** Listing the failed packages (-:ignored / *:skipped / !:failed)
        ! devel/pear    (install error)
        * mail/pear-MIME_Type
        * archivers/pear-File_Archive

How-To-Repeat: portupgrade -N pear
