There is a boot.cat on installation cd, but does not boot like version 3.2.  Confirm by Cheapbytes.

Fix: 

Make boot floppies in DOS.
How-To-Repeat: Put installation cd in and boot of cdrom.

This could very well be a known problem with the 3.3R CD.
