Responsible Changed From-To: freebsd-i386->freebsd-ports-bugs This is something ports-ish Responsible Changed From-To: freebsd-ports-bugs->roam Assign to maintainer State Changed From-To: open->analyzed I am looking into this. Still crashing on 7.2-RELEASE amd64 with vpopmail 5.4.30. downgraded to 5.4.27 everithing goes fine State Changed From-To: analyzed->feedback Can you check if this is still the case with the upstream fix in vpopmail-5.4.30_1 that I just committed? State Changed From-To: feedback->analyzed The PR submitter reports success, but Cristiano Deana is still having some trouble. I'll look into it a bit deeper. roam 2010-02-09 13:19:41 UTC FreeBSD ports repository Modified files: mail/vpopmail Makefile pkg-plist mail/vpopmail/files patch-Makefile.in Added files: mail/vpopmail/files patch-vusagec.conf Log: Another attempt at fixing the vpopmail-5.4.30 local delivery problem: fix the upstream Makefile's logic and actually install vusage.conf, while disabling the vusagec/vusaged check since we don't even install vusaged on FreeBSD. Can you please verify that you have a /usr/local/vpopmail/etc/vusagec.conf file, and that is has the (uncommented) "Server:" and "Disable = true;" lines? Really copy the vusagec.conf-dist file to vusagec.conf if the latter does not exist. The pkg-plist @exec commands are not, repeat not, executed at *port* install time! No, thanks for YOUR wasted time! This was actually the whole point of the vpopmail-5.4.30_2 update - to install vusagec.conf as a disabled file. Unfortunately, I forgot that merely adding it to the packing list with an @exec copy command would not let it be installed for people who do "make install" for the port :) Not quite sure how this fix slipped by in my testing :( It should be fine now, in vpopmail-5.4.30_3. You could test it by removing the /usr/local/vpopmail/etc/vusagec.conf file and installing vpopmail-5.4.30_3 - it should copy the .dist file now. Alternatively, you might not do it, since it's exactly what you have done already :) Once again, thanks for bearing with me on this, and sorry for all the time it took to fix!
