Summary: FreeBSD 3.2 - Calls from CGI scripts, cron, etc... will just freeze!
Product: Base System Reporter: step <step>
Component: miscAssignee: freebsd-bugs (Nobody) <bugs>
Status: Closed FIXED
Severity: Affects Only Me
Priority: Normal
Version: Unspecified
Hardware: Any
OS: Any

Description step 1999-10-07 10:10:00 UTC
When CRON executes a mail delivery, or our CGI scripts on that
server try to call a UNIX call, or even if a remote server tries
to FTP to the server through a PERL script, it will simply freeze,
and not do anything.

If the "top" command is called to see what is going on, in "STATE"
it says: "355 root -13 0 180K 64K chkiq2 0:00 0.00% 0.00% mkdir"
What is chkiq2 ?
