To submitter: You might have to give more details of the problems
you are seeing.

FWIW, I use Opera as my primary browser, and have not noticed any
issues with the website relating to that, so I'm assuming you're
PR isn't about issues you are seeing. It's presumably also not
about Opera not being mentioned as a browser enough, as the only page
I'm aware of (http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en/books/handbook/desktop-browsers.html)
that mentions browser choices, lists Opera as a good choice.

Please, give us more details about the problem you perceive.

As gavin@ reported, on his system Opera is working fine for the
www.FreeBSD.org website.

And there was no feedback within the last 2 months from the sender of
the PR so we have no possibilty to verify the original "problem report".

Therefore I will let this ticket time out (and close this PR) 2 weeks
from now if there is no change in the situation until then.

Sorry to "disappoint" you. But there is nothing wrong with the
FreeBSD.org website at all.

I just tested it with Opera 10.50 (also on a Windows machine). And it
is working perfectly here. The same goes for Opera on a FreeBSD machine.

Your screenshot say that Opera is "... unable to find the website
http://www.FreeBSD.org ..." But your system is the only system showing
this symptom. So it must be a local problem on your side (Opera
network/cache setting?).

Therefore I will close this PR now as the problem is definitely not on
the FreeBSD.org website.

Best regards.

Johann

Close this PR. There is nothing wrong with the FreeBSD.org website. Root cause is likely a problem on this specific user PC (Opera configuration?).
