Yes. There has been some direct discussion about this, which didn't get
recorded in the PR history. This version does not work as it is. It has
the same gnulib bug as the latest m4 release. There is a patch for this
(already in bison git). The author has announced a new bufix release
2.4.3, due real-soon-now.
Last weekend another 2.4.2 bug was found, which has pushed the timetable
forward a bit; but I'm still expecting the release soon (this weekend?).
When 2.4.3 is available I'll update this PR for another testrun.
