Somehow the How-To-Repeat field from the web submission did not make it through. The following commands resulted in an instant kernel panic: ifconfig wlan0 create wlandev ath0 wlanmode adhoc ifconfig wlan0 inet 192.168.0.1/24 ssid foo mode 11g channel 6 bssid 12:00:00:00:00:00 Responsible Changed From-To: freebsd-bugs->freebsd-net Over to maintainer(s). For bugs matching the following criteria: Status: In Progress Changed: (is less than) 2014-06-01 Reset to default assignee and clear in-progress tags. Mail being skipped I cannot reproduce the panic with rtwn_pci(4) on the recent HEAD; I think, it was already fixed some time ago - at least, there were no reliably reproducible panics with various ifconfig(8) parameters since base r296237. If the problem still exist - feel free to reopen this bug. |
