The problem is mainly that sscape_mss on my Ensoniq Soundscape (original)
skips when playing mp3s and other things.. I get a lot of static,a nd the
longer it plays, the more it happens.. This does not happen in any other
OS and it did not happen in 3.x either..

Fix: 

Damn, do I wish I knew :).. This problem has been around forever in 4.0, someone please fix it :)..
How-To-Repeat: Use Ensoniq Soundscape (original) with sscape0 and sscape_mss0 :)

Does this problem still occur in newer versions of FreeBSD, 
such as 4.3-RELEASE?
