Or boot into your BIOS and change one of the CDROM/DVD drives to an off
state so its not picked up by the install.
Given this is still a problem but at least you have two workarounds.

I hadn't actually though of trying that - I will give it a shot later
if I get an opportunity and see if it fixes it. I have a feeling that
the actual problem is it not seeing the 2nd CD at all after ome investigation
though - possibly due to USB differences between 7 and 8.
