Hello,

After an installation by compilation of the packages.

Packages list :

http://www.c-extra.com/en/freebsd-server.php

With the compilation for Xfce-4.8 :

http://www.c-extra.com/en/article.php?AIndex=32

Installation technical :

http://www.c-extra.com/en/article.php?AIndex=29

That does not operate with Xfce-4.8 :

- The USB keys, they do not mount on the desktop.

- It is not possible to launch xfburn-0.4.3

Hoping not to have omitted the packages, thank you in advance for corrections.

That does not operate is firefox-i18n-3.6.15, but it has nothing to do with Xfce, can not switch in the French localization, by example.

The problems are identical Into FreeBSD-8.2-RELEASE. I have tested with the same type of installation.

Hi,

xfce4.10  for a long time in the ports tree. Can you reproduce that
bugs in it ?

Mount device is not bug, Hal was dropped since Xfce 4.8, this feature
requires libudev (it's specific to Linux), so in Thunar it's desable.

Localization works fine, you must configure LANG and LC_CTYPE
variables in your .xinitrc.
