Looking at the gnash website, they claim 0.8.9 is still beta: http://www.gnu.org/software/gnash/download.html I hadn't received any feedback on this and also, I have never had a very good working gnash on my system. So, please let me know what I can do to move this along. I don't have a lot of time to keep pushing PR's that get stuck like this.
