I have got myself a "DawiControl DC2976UW" SCSI controller card for the
PCI bus.  The card itself is based on the "LSI-Logic 53C875E" SCSI
controller chip (the PC97 compliant version of the 53C875) and is
therefore recognized by the "ncr" driver as it comes with 3.4-RELEASE
without any problems or further modifications.

This card should be montioned in the hardware compatibility list as it
is an inexpensive and hence attractive alternative for the UW cards sold
by Adaptec or LSI-Logic.

This information is likely to apply to 4.0-CURRENT as well, but I can't
check that.
