Description Hans Joachim Desserud 2011-06-19 22:10:10 UTC
When installing the game Widelands from the package repository (pkg_add), the older version build 13 is installed. Build 16 was released earlier this year, and this version is available in ports. The version in ports builds and runs fine, but the prebuilt package should be updated as well.

I am sorry if the latest build being in ports invalidates this report. Also I wasn't able to find a list of which prebuilt packages are in different versions of FreeBSD, so I unfortunately don't know if this has been updated in -CURRENT.

How-To-Repeat: pkg_add -r widelands

The port was updated some time ago. Package for 8.2-RELEASE will stay on
b13, as release packages are not updated, but 8-STABLE packages are and
these already have b16 -
ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/i386/packages-8-stable/games/widelands-b16.tbz
which you can use on 8.2-RELEASE as well, taking usual care about
possible version mismatch of dependencies. See also handbook section
4.4.1 including "Note" there.
