When I attempt to access the master device on the secondary IDE interface
I receive device timeouts and resets.
My DVD-ROM is a slave on the secondary IDE and this fails with a
device not configured message whenever I try to mount.

How-To-Repeat: try mounting a device on the secondary IDE.
