I don't know who is at fault here; but i think threading is broken in sbcl, again.

Fix: 

I think this is threading related. so building sbcl without threads should do the trick...
How-To-Repeat: use slime with sbcl 1.0.57 and wait

sbcl 1.0.57 is several versions old now, report is obsolete.
