Bug 17214

Summary: gdb doesn't honor auto-solib-add
Product: Base System Reporter: adsharma <adsharma>
Component: gnuAssignee: freebsd-bugs (Nobody) <bugs>
Status: Closed FIXED
Severity: Affects Only Me
Priority: Normal
Version: 4.0-CURRENT
Hardware: Any
OS: Any

Description adsharma 2000-03-06 01:50:01 UTC
Loading a core file in gdb using

	gdb a.out core

loads symbols from shared libs even when auto-solib-add is 0. This
is a problem when debugging large binaries like mozilla.

Fix:

It works on Linux. So sync'ing with gdb mainline might fix it.
How-To-Repeat:
	See description.
