System panis when a cdrom is mounted
panic: kmem_malloc(-943165440): kmem_map too small: 12419072 total allocated mp_lock = 00000001; cpuid = 0; lapic.id = 00000000

This PR should be closed due to inadequate information reported.  At
minimum DMESG output should be included, and as a custom kernel was
built on this system, the system should be tested with kernel.GENERIC
to see if the problem occurs with that kernel too.
