Description bachr 2000-03-17 03:20:00 UTC
System hangs during high disk i/o rates. The messages log has the entries
(da0:ahc0:0:0:0) data overrun detected in Data in phase Tag == 0xe
(da0:ahc0:0:0:0) have seen Data Phase. Length = 1024 NumSGs=1
sg[0] - Addr 0x1a55000 : Length 1024

Fix:

None. I am going to try to slow down the scsi controller. The system configuration is
k6-2-500 with adaptec 2940uw, seagate 6 gig scsi barracuda wide drive,
pioneer atapi cdrom, 128MB physical memory, 2 ethernet cards one pci one
isa and a 3d prophet video card with 32MB of memory(geforce ddr).
How-To-Repeat: I can reproduce this problem by running a script generated using awk to
install the packages from the Latest directory on the CD
