   Could the version of ipfilter in -current be upgraded? From what I read
   on the master site, the latest ipfilter is stable and well tested.

Also, i think it would be nice to have the patches to
/etc/defaults/rc.conf and rc.network located at
http://www.swcp.com/~synk/ipfmerge.patch integrated into the base
system, if they fit ...
