Description Ian Wagner 2013-05-26 20:10:00 UTC
The adventure game in the bsdgames port crashes with a segfault on amd64.

Fix: Someone already fixed this problem in the gentoo port (see https://github.com/herrwiese/gentoo-portage/blob/master/games-misc/bsd-games/files/bsd-games-2.17-64bit.patch). I have tested the patch and attached a proper diff to this PR.

Patch attached with submission follows:
How-To-Repeat: 1. Start a game of adventure.
2. At any point, try to save by typing "save"
3. Type in a name for your save
4. Segfault

That diff appears to be about a different port. Can you please resubmit it?

It's been a month now. The patch attached to this PR is for a different port. I'm closing this PR, but if you have a current patch please feel free to re-open the PR.
