Bug 182880

Summary: bsdinstall(8): Exiting out of ipv6 config leaves ipv6 netmask in ipv4 dhcp

Description Henson 2013-10-10 21:20:00 UTC
During the network configuration portion of bsdinstall, the installer
asks if the user would like to configure IPv6. Starting, then exiting
out of the IPv6 config leaves an IPv6 netmask in the IPv4 config --
causing all subsequent IPv4 DHCP automatic configs to fail.

How-To-Repeat: Selecting 'Yes' to the IPv6 config, then DHCP configuration, then
'Cancel'. The installer brings the user back to the IPv4 setup, which
fails it's DHCP lookup.

I can confirm this is still an issue with the 11.4-RC2 amd64 .iso installer.
