The Makefile at /usr/ports/x11/gnome-desktop holds garbage:

How do you update your portstree? If it is via portsnap it might be a 
faulty mirror.

The port in SVN doesnt show the garbage reported and the reporter never came back about that issue, so I am assuming this was some kind of single incident on the reporter side and I am closing that PR.
