Summary: "STABLE" HAHA
Product: Base System Reporter: rpconst <rpconst>
Component: i386Assignee: freebsd-bugs (Nobody) <bugs>
Status: Closed FIXED
Severity: Affects Only Me
Priority: Normal
Version: Unspecified
Hardware: Any
OS: Any

Description rpconst 2000-05-16 00:10:01 UTC
The least stable OS I have ever tried! Ocasionally FreeBSD runs the first boot after new install (I even remove the NONDOS partition mount a DOS partition, format & scandisk) between re-installations) I've been using DOS since version 2.1. Never boots without DUMPS the on the third boot and half the time the second boot fail miserably.
The system is a FIC VA-503+ motherboard, AMD K6-2 3D NOW 500Mhz, 128 Meg RAM. 8.4 gig ATA HD as C: and a 2.5 gig HD (where I attempt to run FreeBSD) as D: or ATwhatever1.

Fix:

Continue to use windows
How-To-Repeat: Install Freebsd 4.0 i386.

Maybe Linux works!
