Maintainer of devel/otrs, Please note that PR ports/186355 has just been submitted. If it contains a patch for an upgrade, an enhancement or a bug fix you agree on, reply to this email stating that you approve the patch and a committer will take care of it. The full text of the PR can be found at: http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=ports/186355 -- Edwin Groothuis via the GNATS Auto Assign Tool edwin@FreeBSD.org State Changed From-To: open->feedback Awaiting maintainers feedback (via the GNATS Auto Assign Tool) To submitter: please explain how do you run it without "unnecessary" apache? -- Mikhail It's just perl, so can run it with almost any webserver. For instance with www/nginx + www/p5-FCGI ( http://zlonet.ru/page/nginxperlotrs/ ). That's why it would be good to just pull in the apache dependencies if selected in config. Before doing that we should at least: 1) Add fastcgi deps as an alternative (option Apache/fastcgi) 2) In case of fastcgi provide rc script for launching otrs fastcgi process on boot 3) In case of fastcgi provide an example config for nginx/lightttpd webserver. -- Mikhail CC www/otrs maintainer again. Looks like discussion is dead, proposal rejected. Feel free to reopen if something changes. |
