Description friedt 2000-05-18 11:00:02 UTC
after compiling a new kernel, here is the output at boot time (typed
from screen so there might be some typo) :
------------------------------------------

pccard0: pccard_card_attach

Fatal trap 12: page fault while in kernel mode
fault virtual address = 0x128
fault code = supervisor write, page not present
instruction pointer = 0x8:0xc0128a66
stack pointer = 0x10:0xc0339b08
frame pointer = 0x10:0xc0339b10
code segment = base rx0, limit 0xfffff, type 0x1b
                        = DPL 0, pres 1, def32 1, gran 1
processor eflags = interrupt enabled, resume, IOPL = 0
current process = 0 (swapper)
interrupt mask = net tty bio cam
kernel: type 12 trap, code=0
Stopped at pccard_card_attach+0x2a: movl $0,0x128(%ebx)
-------------------------------------

When booting on the CD for a new install, I have to remove the PCCard
option for the computer not to freeze at boot time.

How-To-Repeat: The computer is a laptop Toshiba Stallite 1625 CDT
