In GNATS, ports PRs that weren't submitted by the maintainer were automatically put in feedback status with the maintainer email address added to the X-GNATS-Notify field. These email addresses don't seem to appear in bugzilla, e.g. bug 190179. Could they be added to the CC list for instance?

I think so, but it'll take a bit of research.

The caveat here is that things like the tools to generate auto ports PR's need to be dealt with too. I'm not sure what the plan there is, but there are options ranging from email API to CLI wrappers etc.

I think the bugmeister folks envisioned people setting up auto-search / auto-notify filters but I'm not following the details here.

I think Peter was replying to a different bug.

We didn't import X-GNATS-Notify, mostly because we believed people weren't using it. We'll take a look about running another run and adding those names to CC.

We never did this, and now we've been using bugzilla for quite some time.
