Would it be possible to get some more skins in there? I always
found (and still find) both Dusk and Classic incredibly grey and
uninspiring.

none of those skins are for 4.4.  It would also make it harder to implement custom templates.  I suspect this is what you are actually after: Giving FreeBSD its own identity.
