Description p5B2EA84B3 2014-06-07 22:29:38 UTC
geli_swap_flags in /etc/rc.conf are obsolete.
The configuration has to be done in /etc/fstab.
What can be read in man 5 fstab is not really sufficent.

"geli_swap_flags" is not mentioned anywhere related to rc.conf for stable/10 or head; what release are you running?

True. AFAIK it was used in releng<10.0. In releng/10.0 it doesn't work anymore.

Somehow, with the new bugzilla system, I failed to notice the title of the bug, which mentions a handbook chapter. The text of the report makes much more sense given that piece of information. I'll see about updating the handbook to be correct on both new and old releases.
