Providing ways for interested community members to contribute to the project is critical for the long-term health of the project and ecosystem.

Issue management is an area that has always been touted as needing additional effort, in order to better serve the needs of the community and leverage greater feedback .

Bug tracking, triage and curation is a simple and obvious way to achieve that both of the above outcomes, whilst also providing a way for people to become familiar with the project without being overwhelming.
