We should add more fine-grained categories like
net for networking
scsi for storage
arm for arm platform
mips for mist platform
etc

I'd keep it simple and follow how we have mailing lists -net, -wireless, -scsi, etc. Just a thought.

Is anything being done wrt this?

There should at least be a -net and -embedded (for arm and mips).
