Major changes:

BE now optionally writes features to SQLite databases in addition to flat files.

New scanners, plus many fixes in existing scanners.

Improved support for carving encoded objects missed by contemporary carvers (e.g. ZIP-compressed JPEG files).

It seems that http://digitalcorpora.org/downloads/bulk_extractor/ works while http://www.digitalcorpora.org/downloads/bulk_extractor/ doesn't
