Since Chromium 36, the font displayed on browser tabs as well as in menus is larger than normal. I'm not sure if this is intended. The font does not seem this big on Windows.

over to chromium team.
Comment 2 Rene Ladan freebsd_committer freebsd_triage 2014-08-17 19:07:55 UTC
This might be caused by Aura-backed-by-GTK being used for the drawing, on Windows Aura is used.

This does not seem to be a problem any more and has not for a while. closing

With Chrome 35.0.1916.153 I have this issue:

i.e. the default “Normal 400” font weight looks heavier than “Ultra-Bold 900”.
