While sysrc(8) mentions rc.conf(5) in its man page, this is is not true vice versa. I think it would be helpful to mention sysrc in the rc.conf man pages to induce people to use it.

I would like to chime in since this ticket has been around a while...

I too have problems remembering the sysrc utility (short term memory is always the first to go).  Being able to search the relevant rc man pages would give me the answer if it was mentioned in the "see also" section.

So I want to give a +1 vote for this as well.  Bonus if this could be mentioned in the handbook as well!
